I'd done a lot in Fusion and never had this issue. The thing that is so bizarre is that this is a recent change, perhaps in the last update of Resolve. I haven't done any editing in the color page, so it's a new clip with no edits. I'm assuming I need to add a node after the media out node to coerce to a proper color space and gamma for my external display. I've just tested this on a Resolve YRGB (non RCM) project where I use CSTs in the color page to take my Canon CLog3 footage to Rec709/gamma 2.2 for output and when I go to the Fusion page, the image is dark and oversaturated on my clean feed display, just as you describe.
